Peddlers’ Walk is tunnel design which features a retail extension of kiosks which peddles curious and small merchandise to curious commuters passing through to both the river promenade and central fountain areas. An integrated LED colour changing lighting scheme kicks in during the evening hours, where its effect is most pronounced. With a few drinks, passing through the space is quite a psychedelic shopping experience. While the colour changing ceiling may prove to be quite a distraction, a long black ‘centipede’ chandelier leads out to both exits as a guide for the disorientated.
